A few words about
me ...

|
...
since you would probably like to know who you are working with!
I
received my translation degree from the School of Applied Linguistics
and Cultural Studies (FASK) in Germersheim, which belongs to the
Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany. After that, I was
authorised to certify translations to and from the English, Spanish and
German languages by the Regional Court of Landau in der Pfalz, Germany.
I
have always had a passion for foreign languages and cultures and
therefore supplemented my solid linguistic education with several
extensive stays abroad. Due to my work as a freelance journalist I am
also familiar with the various journalistic styles used in the media,
and I have a fluent writing style, always keeping the target audience
in mind. This is especially important as even the most comprehensive
technical knowledge and thorough understanding of the source text, on
their own, do not automatically result in a reader-friendly translation
that is tailored to the target group – this requires a
translation expert who has a feel for the target language!
Below you will find an
overview of the most important stages of my translation-related
